Arrival & Access

Check-in is at 4:00 PM. Your access code and any updated entry details will be provided through your booking platform (HomeyHawaii or VRBO) prior to arrival.

Finding the unit

Enter the Maui Banyan resort from South Kihei Road. Building P is toward the back of the complex — follow the signs through the resort grounds. Take the elevator to floor 3 (this is the 4th floor of the P building). Turn left from the elevator — P410 is the first unit on your right.

Your booking confirmation will include the current keypad code for the front door lock. No physical key needed.

Aston check-in: Upon arrival, stop at the Aston front desk in Building G to get your parking pass and pool code. Let them know you are staying in P410 and will be using the owner's assigned parking space. If the Aston office is closed when you arrive, complete this first thing the next morning.

Parking

P410 comes with one free assigned parking space — included at no extra charge.

Your assigned space

Your parking space number will be provided in your booking confirmation. The space is on the top level of the parking structure, directly across from the stairway — and that stairway is directly across from the P building entrance.

The space accommodates a standard full-size car or SUV. If you're renting a large vehicle, check with us in advance. Additional vehicles can use resort visitor parking when available.

Free parking — 1 assigned space (top level, near P building stairs)

Space number provided in booking confirmation

03

AC & Climate

P410 features new mini-split air conditioning units — a significant upgrade from older window units. Quiet, efficient, and effective.

Using the mini-split AC

Each mini-split unit is controlled by its own remote. The remotes are labeled and will be found near each unit in the living room and bedrooms. Point the remote toward the unit and press the power button.

1

Point the remote at the unit on the wall/ceiling and press the power button (usually a circle with a line)

2

Use the temperature up/down buttons to set your desired temperature. We find 72–74°F comfortable most evenings.

3

Set mode to "Cool" (snowflake icon). Fan speed can be set to Auto for best results.

Maui tip: Kihei evenings are often naturally cool and breezy. Many guests find they can open the lanai door and enjoy the trade winds without running the AC at all — especially from October through April. The breeze is one of the things that makes this location special.

About the TVs: P410 has Roku TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. They are set to HOA standard free channels — no login is needed and no paid streaming subscriptions or program purchases are available on these units.

04

Beach Gear

P410 has solid beach gear to get you started — chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, cooler, rolling wagon, and beach towels. For snorkel gear, rentals are readily available along South Kihei Road.

What's provided

Beach chairs (4)
Beach umbrella
Beach towels
Boogie boards (2)
Cooler
Large rolling wagon

Where to find it

All beach gear is kept on the lanai. The chairs and umbrella are stored in the large rolling wagon.

To dry beach towels, use the drying rack stored in the guest bedroom closet. Resort policy does not allow towels hung over the lanai railings.

Snorkeling tip from Andrew: The best snorkeling in the immediate area is at Kama'ole III (south end, rocky point) and Five Caves / Five Graves just south of Makena Landing. Go in the morning before wind picks up. See our Explore Maui guides for more details.

Frequently asked questions

Is WiFi included?

Yes — high-speed WiFi is included. The network name and password are posted on the information sheet inside the unit and also provided in your booking confirmation.

Is P410 good for remote work?

Absolutely. Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet top-floor unit, two lanais for fresh air breaks, and a full kitchen to keep you fueled. We've designed the unit with remote workers in mind.

Is there a washer and dryer?

Yes — there's an in-unit washer/dryer in the master bath area. Laundry supplies are provided. Pack light and do a load mid-trip — that's how we travel.

How far is the beach?

Kama'ole II is directly across South Kihei Road — a 3-minute walk. No car needed. Kama'ole I is a short walk north and Kama'ole III is a short walk south. You are genuinely central to three great beaches. One heads-up: Kama'ole II's beach restrooms and showers are currently closed for storm-damage repairs (expected to reopen Fall 2026) — the nearest facilities are at Kama'ole I and Kama'ole III.

Can we see whales from the unit?

Yes — during whale season (November through April), you can often spot spouts and breaches from the lanais. When you do, the best show is a 3-minute walk away at Kama'ole II. Bring binoculars for the best views.

Is the unit good for families with kids?

Very much so. Two bedrooms, two resort pool areas each with a pool and hot tub, a calm beach right across the street, and all the beach gear you need. Kama'ole II is known as one of the most family-friendly beaches on Maui.

Where do we contact you if something's wrong?

Contact us through your booking platform (HomeyHawaii or VRBO) — messages come directly to us and we respond quickly. Our contact number is also in your booking information.

Do you allow early check-in or late checkout?

We try to accommodate when possible — it depends on the cleaning schedule between guests. Send us a message through your booking platform at least 48 hours before arrival and we'll do our best.
